Join us for a very special workshop with 2 of the most dedicated and respected casting directors in the southeast.
Alpha Tyler and Shay Griffin will work together to present a very valuable learning experience for actors 16 and older. You will have to act fast as we have very limited space for this workshop. This workshop needs a few days prep so you will have to sign up early, please read the information below.
We suggest ages 16 and up, any one under 18 should have some professional work and understand adult topics will be covered in class.
About the workshop:
This will be a workshop where the principle focus will be on preparation, live auditioning and self-taping for television pilots and network series and film. Actors will have the opportunity to witness the “other side” of the casting process with two women who traditionally like to have a hands-on, working relationship when auditioning actors.
Actors in this class will receive sides from us on Saturday and must put themselves on tape by Sunday or audition live in Sundays class. These tapes or live auditions will be reviewed and discussed in class Sunday. This exercise will allow those in attendance to learn first-hand what is acceptable in today's industry regarding self-taping and what casting directors respond to and think when actors audition. This will be presented to be as real life experience as to the process and how it works from the perspective of a casting office.
Workshop will include discussions about live auditioning verses self tape. The changing and growing industry in the southeast and how to prepare for this. Bring your questions for these 2 casting directors and the ask them during the Q & A.
